Oodle Day Out

Postby natsnaps » Mon Mar 29, 2010 7:49 am

Is anyone keen to have a Spoodle or general Oodle day out in Auckland? Just went to the Pug Day Out in Auckland over the weekend and it was great fun!

Shall we all make a date? Say mid-may?

I won't be there but I highly recommend Three Kings reserve (on Duke St in Mt Eden). There is a car park and then if you follow the path, go up a slight hill, there is a big flat area. There is another one further along the path (to the right) and up a steepish but short rise. Have fun!!!!

Hi Anglea
I noticed you are in Dunedin, and wondered if you wanted to meet up. I would love to see your brood, especially the pups. I have not decided yet whether to get Tessa spayed or not yet. I kind of assumed I would, but can,t quite bring myself to do it yet. Not sure whether to let her have a litter first. I am in Concord, so let me know if you would like to meet.
Cheers
Shelley

Ok so we have Kingsland or I also went to the Auckland Botanical Gardens today and at the back of the gardens is a large off-leash area....

Nugget and I are very keen - he just got excited seeing himself in a mirror so will be delighted to see some other Oodles.

Happy with any of those days.

Ollie and I would be keen - one of the Sunday dates would suit us best. Waiatarua Reserve http://www.dogmog.co.nz/waiatarua-reserve/ is a good one.

I wish I could come but Coco's pups will still be too young for her to leave for that long I think. Meola Reef in Pt Chev is also fantastic. They have a fenced off leash area which has bush, grass and goes down to the water but they can't get in as far as I can see. Coco loves it because it is completely fenced so I can let her just go and have fun and it's not so big that I can't find her or get her back with a whistle and click.
