This article is for those people who are interested in why their dog pulls on the leash, hence the title. It's an article meant to lower the dogs excitement and energy. For a lot of people getting pulled by their dog and having them pull them into a bush to sniff is not enjoyable. If the walk for a person isn't enjoyable then they will be more incline to stop walking their dog as often as a dog requires. This article shows some tips on how to help those people who are getting pulled by their dog, not for those who are happy with how their dog walks. By all means enjoy your dog, but getting dragged along the road by your dog isn't fun... having a low tempered, low energy dog isn't boring - it's a lot of fun.

...I think it's an interesting article. But I don't want my dog to become a non-dog. The point of my taking the dog out is not for my exercise, it is for her to get exercise and for her entertainment. If she wants to smell every bush, why not? Ignore my dog? why? Why the disconnect? My dog will walk at my side just fine. I talk to her, praise her. It is fun...
Your way? It's boring.
